Program for the Integration of PARES

Under the National Strategy for the Integration of People in Homelessness 2017-2023 (ENIPSSA 2017-2023), the ISS, IP approved the opening of the Peer Intervention Program (PIP), taking into account the technical support and monitoring teams for users in housing response, namely Housing First and Shared Apartment. The objective is to reinforce the logic of proximity in the intervention with people in a situation of homelessness, through the integration in the teams of elements that experienced, themselves, the condition of life in a situation of homelessness.
In addition, the Peer Integration Program has the potential to promote the socio-professional insertion of people who, having lived the condition of homelessness, overcame it, through their hiring for functions of direct action helper, within the technical teams of housing support responses Housing First and Shared Apartments.
The MIP calls for an increase of 25% in the financing provided for in the Protocol, with a maximum ceiling of EUR 13 000 per contracted pair per year.
