The State will transfer to social institutions 220 million in 2025, according to the Agreement of Commitment of Cooperation with the Social and Solidarity Sector for 2025-2026.

Homes had an update of 12%, crèches of 8.7%, preschools of 16%, daycare centers of 6.1% and activity and training centers for the inclusion of 6%, as a result of the study of a working group, appointed by the Government, on updating the values of the various social responses.

The agreement was signed by the Government and the top leaders of the National Confederation of Solidarity Institutions, Lino Maia, the Union of Portuguese Mercies, Manuel Lemos, the Union of Mutual Societies, Luís Alberto Silva, and the Portuguese Cooperative Confederation, Joaquim Pequicho.
