The current Commitment for Cooperation for the Social and Solidarity Sector 2023-2024, concluded on 7 December 2023 between the Government and the Representative Entities of the Social and Solidarity Sector, presents a gap between the financial contribution that is paid by the State and the cost that the provision of social responses represents for the Institutions, requiring an urgent extraordinary correction of the value of the financial contribution of some social responses.

The Addendum to the Commitment for Cooperation for the Social and Solidarity Sector for the two-year period 2023-2024, signed on 2 October 2024, sets out the allocation of an extraordinary 3.5% contribution, with retroactive effect to January 2024, to minimise the effects of inflation for the responses Residential Structure for Older Persons (ERPI), Day Centre, Home Support Service (SAD) and Residential Home for persons with disabilities.
