PEOPLE 2030 – Call for applications under the Action Plan on Active, Healthy and Longevity

The PEOPLE 2030 Programme, through Notice PEOPLE-2026-15, supports actions under the Action Plan on Active, Healthy and Longevity Ageing, promoting innovative and person-centred responses.
The support aims to strengthen the autonomy and independence of elderly people in situations of social vulnerability, through the qualification and modernisation of home support responses, the training of professionals and the improvement of the services provided.
Actions and initiatives under the Active and Healthy Ageing Action Plan are eligible, namely:
Projects that develop the autonomy and independence of the elderly in everyday tasks;
- Awareness-raising, capacity-building and qualification programmes;
- Projects that promote quality of life and levels of physical and mental well-being;
- The training of institutions aimed at promoting the quality of life and the physical and mental well-being of the elderly.
Open applications from 14 September to 26 October 2026.
Support for these actions to promote the autonomy, health and quality of life of older people is allocated EUR 7 million.
Eligible operations are those carried out in the regions of Norte, Centro and Alentejo as set out in the Regulation.
